WHAT I'VE DONE
Creative designer with over 25 years industry experience.
I graduated from Kingston University in 1989 and have worked in London ever since.
My early years were spent doing the rounds with several of the branding specialists: Landor Associates, Wolff Olins and Luxon Carra. The projects were mostly print, identity and branding projects with a variety of clients.
I then moved into the advertising and tech world with a Finnish Ad Agency, Contra. Our main client was Nokia / Nokia Networks, where I was the Global Creative Director. I was based in London but travelled extensively globally doing many film & stills shoots for both their consumer and B2B divisions as well as working closely with the creative teams in the San Francisco & Helsinki. During my 11 years, we grew the company from 6 to over 100 people in 5 offices worldwide.
In 2009, I set up a company - Parrott & Miller (with David Miller) that focussed on new ways of engagement (such as experiential, mobile and social media). This evolved into a full-service agency which ran the Puma UK account for the 4 years. In addition to Sports (Football, Rugby, Running), we also looked after the Lifestyle and Fashion silos as well as internal requests such as in the quarterly sales events.
My love affair with football continued with the FA, where I was the lead creative on the £30m Emirates FA Cup sponsorship deal. I also worked on other sponsorship / partner projects for the FA and the England Football team.
My most recent work has been directly with Shell Fuels - in particular their Premium products of Shell
V-Power & Shell Helix Ultra Oils. This has spanned film, animation and interactive projects.
